A Journey of Self-Acceptance

THE CHALLENGE: A French woman exclaimed that she didn’t fit into any of the lenses.  When encouraged to elect one she chose diversity saying that she never ‘fitted the mould’ and found unique ways of doing things/living her life.  Her second chosen lens was spirituality.  Born into a catholic family, she had also never fit there – choosing to leave the church at the expense of disapproval from her family.  In the centre she declared that she was in the process of becoming a Buddhist – which was another manifestation of her unique path.

THE SOLUTION: This work uncovered some deep emotion as she faced the struggles she had endured to become her own person.  She visibly calmed as she realised she was going through a process of self-acceptance and transformation.

THE RESULTS: Through engaging with each lens of the Kaleidoscope from the lens of her own unique experience, the client was able to more clearly which factors where having the biggest impact on her, and where she wanted to focus. Going through the exercise helped the client come to terms with her own journey; past, present, and future.
