THE CHALLENGE: Our client, a GM running a retail operation throughout mainland Europe, was struggling with its operations in Greece due to the change of economic conditions in that marketplace.
THE SOLUTION:
Coaching over 10 months identified the following:
- The need to close down a store due to a fall in foot traffic in identified sites
- The need to retrain staff in customer service techniques
- The need to streamline product lines to improve stock turns
- The need to better engage staff internally, in order to improve customer satisfaction outcomes
THE RESULTS: The resulting plan provided for 3.75 million of cost-savings, increased productivity and engagement of staff. Our client has also been promoted to incorporate both UK and mainland Europe in his remit.
